Portfolio

Catherine Haines.com
Site Type: Personal blog.
Notes: This design was created with vibrant colours in mind and ribbons as headers. It also uses changing sidebars to keep it inline with the blog's content.
Tools: Adobe Photoshop/Imageready CS2, Notepad++ and Wordpress.

Working Title
Site Type: Writing blog.
Notes: As Working Title is a blog on the topic of writing, the design itself was based around the concept of a writer's desk (only this one is perhaps a little tidier than average). Both the navigation and the sidebar are post-it notes, and the main content is designed to look like a spiral-bound notebook.
Tools: Adobe Photoshop/Imageready CS2, Notepad++ and Wordpress.

GirlGuiding Johnsonville
Site Type: Website for non-profit organisation.
Notes: In designing this website I had to follow strict branding regulations as set out by the parent organisation, GirlGuiding New Zealand, thus limiting the palette to two specific shades of blue and the colour white.
Tools: Adobe Photoshop/Imageready CS2, Notepad++ and Wordpress.

Rath and Ruins
Site Type: Forum
Notes: My role in this was to create a new theme for the fanforum for (and visited by) author Melissa Marr, with the design made to match the cover of the first book in Marr's faerie series, Wicked Lovely.
Tools: Adobe Photoshop/Imageready CS2, Notepad++ and SimpleMachines Forum.
